Black Coffee wins at the 64th Grammys
On Sunday, April 3rd, 2022, Black Coffee receives his first Grammy Award. Subconsciously awarded him the title for Best Dance/Electronic Album. In the same category as him, he beat over Illenium (Fallen Embers), Major Lazer (Music Is the Weapon (Reloaded)), Marshmello (Shockwave), Sylvan Esso (Free Love), and Ten City (Judgement).
The South African DJ attended the renowned event with his first son, Esona, who received the prize alongside his father on stage. Black Coffee thanked everyone who helped him with the project in his address, thanking God for the gift of music and expressing thanks to his family and children.
