“Shomo” is a new Afrobeats uptempo song recording by popular Nigerian singer and rapper Zlatan Ibile. The track is churned out as a music single and it features vocals from several upcoming acts Zlatan Ibile has been trying to promote and bring them through in music industry.
Zlatan Ibile is growing in the music industry even though some believe his music style is slowly dying people like popular journalist Joey Akan said on Twitter weeks ago that the Zanku music vibe is dying off slowly and all artistes doing this type of Afrobeats songs should evolve and move on. Funny thing is a couple days ago Joey Akan said Zlatan Ibile has been threatening him saying if he catches him in Lagos he will be in trouble, this was meant to be a joke though.
The single he dropped earlier in the year titled Paw Paw has been a massive success so far and would have been such a club anthem if not for the nationwide lockdown and socal distancing issues. The song has dried off as of now though, so I guess that’s why he’s putting out this new single featuring his label acts his usual team he’s been using since the beginning of the year. Let’s wait and see if this is another potential club banger.
